Khandkar Mazharul Karim was born on 17 May, 1954, in Chattogram. His father's name was Khandakar Abdul Majid and his mother's name is  Rahima Khatun. His permanent address is  Parimohon Road, Nazir Shankarpur, Jessore.He did his B.A. in Economics, from Rajshahi University, and earned his M.S.S. Degree from Dhaka University. His writing started while writing stories and poems in newspapers, at the young age of 8. he was an editor on Daily  Bangla. His Hobbies include Art, Songs, and traveling.Aside from that, he also worked on a few more newspapers, he has also written Dramas in Television. His novel 'Chokh' was written in 1977, and now he has written 47 books. .
