Manju Sarkar was born 1 September 1953. He is a Bangladeshi writer. He is the recipient of the Bangla Academy Literary Award in 1998.
Sarkar studied at Kailash Ranjan High School and Carmichael College. He retired as the publication officer of Jatiya Granthakendra. He then worked as an editor of the Amar Desh and The Daily Ittefaq.
His works have enchanted many readers as his works had been read by most of the readers in the country.
