Gitabitan

Gitabitan is Rabindranath Tagore’s collected song book, the great archive of Rabindra Sangeet. It gathers more than two thousand songs Tagore wrote across his life, organised by theme such as Puja, Prem, Prakriti, and Swadesh.

For anyone who sings or simply loves Bengali music, this is the central reference. The lyrics carry their own poetry even when read silently from the page.
