This Maria sent a love letter to Himu five years ago, and that incanted. Though Himu did not understand; his cousin Badal (Himu’s disciple) could understand its tenor. But Himu did not show any eagerness to know the meaning of the letter.

The town was too noisy, but the letter reached to Asgar Ali. He was sitting on a bench. He is quite familiar with Himu. After meeting Himu, he offered him to dinner. Himu did not agree with him. After drinking tea, when he about to come back, the police arrested him. Though police caught him, the police had to release him. Phase in the novel, Himu is involved in some problems with the letter-writing Asgar Ali.

Himu and Maria’s father has happened to meet at an old bookshop. According to Maria’s father Mr. Assadullah, “the creator has sent every child with five blue-lotus. This blue lotus is love. Someone can give his or her blue lotus one by one; someone can give all at once. The person who gave his five Lotus to one will not be able to love anybody.”
