“The Harp on the Willows” is a collection of essays by James Hamilton, a Scottish minister and theologian. The title essay reflects on the sorrow and longing experienced by the exiled Israelites in Babylon which describes the Prisoners hanging their harps on willow trees by the rivers of Babylon.
