A.J. Alexander

A.J. Alexander began publishing romance in 2018 and has written numerous short, fast-moving stories organized around families, workplaces, sports, and travel. Her Destination Love sequence carries each instalment to a different European city, beginning with Paris and Dublin before turning to Scotland. Destination: Edinburgh follows Ava as she arrives for a master’s program in art history at the University of Edinburgh. A meeting with local travel agent Callen Mackenzie interrupts her carefully arranged schedule and gives her a more personal introduction to the city. The compact novel uses tours, study plans, and unfamiliar surroundings to bring two contrasting temperaments together. Alexander also writes interconnected small-town fiction in which recurring neighbours and relatives help shape each couple’s choices. Destination: Edinburgh, published in 2022 and later listed in an edition with comma punctuation, fits her preference for concise series entries that give place an active role in the developing relationship and keeps location central to the couple’s choices.
