Ahren Sanders started a small blog in 2012 to review other people's romances, and a story of her own grew out of the habit. It became Surrendering, published in 2013, and it opened a trilogy that Surviving and Salvation completed by 2015. Smokescreen arrived early that year as a separate story, a corporate romance in which a businessman guarding what his father built turns to Stella Sullivan for help. Finn, from 2016, follows a Marine of that name and Presley, a woman grieving her brother. The Bennett Brothers, three novels set in Miami, began with Hotshot the same year. Speed King opened her Men of Action series in January 2022, matching Achilles Kingston, home after ten years in the Marines, with Harley Jacobs. Sanders publishes independently and has had USA Today bestsellers.
