AidaIro

AidaIro is not one person. It is the joint name of two Japanese creators, one writing and one drawing, who have kept their individual identities largely out of view. Toilet-bound Hanako-kun has been serialised in Monthly GFantasy since 2014 and turns a school ghost story into something closer to a melancholy fairy tale, with a girl who summons the boy said to haunt the third-floor lavatory and gets rather more than she bargained for. An animated series followed in 2020.
