Aja Jorgensen

Aja Jorgensen creates closed-door romantic comedies shaped by banter, emotional growth, and the privacy of intimate relationships. Spitefully Yours follows Tanvi, whose plan to repay a former school crush for an old hurt becomes harder to sustain when Jamie does not recognize her and their renewed connection begins to change her motives. The novel appeared in 2023 and uses revenge as the starting pressure for a story about trust, accountability, and moving beyond formative resentment. Jorgensen's other books include Love to Spare, Looking for a Sign, Just Another Groomsman, and the Enchantment Park titles One Enchanted Summer and One Disenchanted Daughter. Her work is listed within the closed-door romance community, a useful guide to the level of intimacy readers can expect. Spitefully Yours stands apart from the later amusement-park sequence as a self-contained romantic comedy. Its young characters and flashes back to high school let Jorgensen compare the identities people carried as adolescents with the choices they make when they meet again.
