Born in Ukraine in 1979, Alexey Osadchuk grew up on the adventure novels of Edgar Rice Burroughs, Jack London and Arthur Conan Doyle, and moved with his family to the south of Spain in the late 1990s. His first fantasy novel was published in 2010. Three years later he started Mirror World, drawing on his own spell as a committed online gamer for a story about a man who enters an MMORPG hoping to fund his daughter's heart operation. He works in LitRPG and progression fantasy, forms in which a character's statistics, levels and skill gains are part of the telling. The Frontier is the second instalment of his Last Life sequence, translated into English and issued by Magic Dome Books in 2023.
