Alina Popescu

Alina Popescu is a Romanian writer and blogger whose fiction ranges across fantasy, science fiction, paranormal romance, and contemporary relationships. She began inventing stories as a child and later developed series, including Bad Blood and Tales of the Werewolf Tribes. Strength to Let Go opens the latter sequence, following Shiki's effort to recover stability while family duties, tribal conflict, and his bond with Blake draw him into a demanding community. Popescu described drafting the book during National Novel Writing Month and explained that its talkative central character changed both the planned plot and its position in the series. Bibliographic records identify the novel as the first Tales of the Werewolf Tribes installment, published in 2015. Her wider catalogue shows a recurring interest in speculative communities, belonging, and characters negotiating loyalty under pressure. Popescu also connects her creative practice with travel, blogging, and a preference for imaginative genre fiction.
