Author: Amanda Grace
Mandy Hubbard published Prada & Prejudice with Razorbill in 2009 and reserves the name Amanda Grace for her bleaker contemporary teenage fiction, issued by Flux. But I Love Him, from 2011, runs a school year backwards, from the wreckage of Ann's relationship with Connor to the day the two met, so the harm accumulates in reverse; Kirkus called it flawed but powerful and compulsively readable. In Too Deep followed in 2012 as a Junior Library Guild selection: Sam flirts with a popular boy to make her best friend jealous, is seen leaving his room in tears, and then finds a false rumour that he attacked her running through school faster than she can work out how to stop it. Hubbard joined D4EO Literary as an agent in 2010 and started the Emerald City Literary Agency in 2015.
