Anastasia Austin

Anastasia Austin organizes linked romances around recurring communities. Broken Road concludes the three-volume Bonfire Boys sequence, following Wild Horses and Perfect Storm. Series records identify it as Boone Cunningham and Penny Webb’s story, with Boone confronting the end of his motocross career after a serious crash and Penny facing the conditions attached to a family inheritance. Their unexpected marriage turns a long-standing attachment into a difficult partnership tested by travel, public pressure, and different expectations. Austin’s own book catalogue places Broken Road beside the other Bonfire Boys titles and within a larger body of romance that includes the Fate and Love on Main series. Independent bibliographic coverage likewise dates this 2023 coming-of-age romance and the sequence’s third volume. Broken Road therefore works best in the context of Austin’s connected small-town world, although its central marriage and career conflict give this couple a complete narrative focus.
