Anise Storm

Anise Storm writes contemporary romantic suspense in interconnected series built around dangerous families, divided loyalties, and hard-won trust. Deadly Intentions opens the Vaccaro Empire sequence and follows Viviana Spataro and Nazario Vaccaro, two people pursuing separate reckonings with the same powerful family. Viviana abandons her planned medical career after her closest friend is killed, while Nazario prepares to challenge his father’s rule from within. Goodreads lists it first of five Vaccaro Empire books, published in 2023. FictionDB independently places it in Storm’s bibliography and identifies her wider work across the Nirvana, Men of Syn, and Titans series. The book’s Naples-linked criminal-family setting supports a story in which attraction continually conflicts with secrecy and revenge. Storm alternates the protagonists’ competing aims rather than reducing either character to a passive role. Starting Deadly Intentions provides readers with the foundation for a continuing family saga, with later volumes widening attention to other members of the Vaccaro world.
