Anne Parrish

Anne Parrish (1888-1957) was an American novelist and children's author born in Colorado into a family of painters. Several of her adult novels became bestsellers in the 1920s and 1930s, admired for their wit and their sharp, unsentimental portraits of family life and self-deception.
