Annie Seaton

Annie Seaton builds contemporary romance, romantic suspense, historical fiction, and time-travel stories around Australian places and communities. Based on the mid-north coast of New South Wales, she has developed a large catalogue of linked regional series as well as shorter standalone works. Follow the Sun appeared in 2022 within the Four Seasons Short and Sweet collection, alongside stories organized around seasonal settings and concise relationship plots. It follows Ten Days in Paradise in that grouping, and Seaton writes these concise works alongside longer Australian series. Her broader fiction includes the Richards Brothers, Porter Sisters, Pentecost Island, Augathella Girls, and Second Chance Bay series. Across those books, Australian landscapes often shape work, family decisions, and relationships rather than functioning only as scenery. Follow the Sun belongs to the compact end of that range, offering a shorter contemporary story within a career that also includes long family sagas and suspense novels. Its series context helps distinguish it from Seaton's similarly titled travel, outback, and coastal books.
