Autumn Imago follows Paul Strand, a seasonal ranger at Baxter State Park, when the arrival of his estranged father forces him to reconsider old wounds and responsibilities. The novel appeared through HarperLegend in 2016. Its setting among mountains, forests, and changing weather supports a story concerned with faith, recovery, and the uncertain work of reconciliation. Wiggins previously worked in brand strategy and has spoken about fiction craft at literary gatherings including the Muse and the Marketplace conference. His later novel The Corpse Bloom also uses the Maine woods, pairing ecological detail with a family crisis. He lives in the state whose parks and communities shape both books. Autumn Imago established the concerns that recur in his fiction: relatives divided by loss, individuals tested by isolation, and landscapes that expose the difference between escape and genuine change.
