Carly Keene

Carly Keene favors compact contemporary romances rooted in practical work and close communities, often returning to rekindled relationships. Coming Around Again entered the multi-author Second Chance Sweethearts series in 2023. Naya and Desmond reunite eleven years after a summer relationship ended without the explanation either of them needed. Their unexpected meeting in a conference room turns an old private disappointment into a workplace problem, while Desmond's account of an accident challenges what Naya believed about his disappearance. Keene's wider bibliography includes Men of Big Horn Ridge, Rivertown Fire and Rescue, Inn Love, and Blue Collar Hometown Hotties. Those groups organize individual couples around mountain towns, emergency work, inns, or skilled trades. Keene wrote her first love story at ten and later made hopeful endings a signature of her fiction. Coming Around Again fits that preference by making renewed contact possible without pretending the lost years never mattered to either character.
