Clara Pines

Clara Pines writes small-town holiday romance organized around family, work, and recurring communities. Doctor’s Secret Santa is the sixth Trinity Falls Sweet Romance novel and was issued by Pine Nut Press in 2023. At his small-town practice, Dr. Kellan Webb meets Daisy, a newly arrived pregnant widow whose concealed history complicates trust between two strangers. The series context matters because returning places and supporting characters give each couple a community history. Doctor’s Secret Santa follows Firefighter's Fake Fiancée and precedes Cowboy's Christmas Librarian in the original Trinity Falls sequence. Pines later expanded the setting through the Icicle Christmas and Home for Christmas groups, while also publishing Sugarville Grove and Angel Mountain Christmas stories. Her Clara Palms name is used for women's fiction, separating that work from the romance-focused Pines bibliography. The direct prose, winter setting, and professional roles in Doctor’s Secret Santa place it squarely within her broader interest in ordinary work lives reshaped by family ties and seasonal homecomings.
