Game and Fall belong to Gentry Boys, seven novels and a novella published between 2014 and 2016 about the men of the Gentry family, a run that opened with Draw; Fall carries the story across into her Defiant Motorcycle Club books. Know Me, Promise Me and Remember Me are that Defiant sequence. Brent has said she grew up somewhere cold, left as soon as she legally could and now lives in the desert with her husband, two children and three dogs, and that the boxes in her cupboard hold unfinished manuscripts going back to the 1980s, when she started making up stories as a child.
