David Bradwell
David Bradwell freelanced for Smash Hits and the Daily Mirror while still a student, then joined the staff of the magazine Music Technology, and has also written for the Sunday Times; he is a recipient of the Professional Publishers Association's award for British magazine writing. He grew up in the north east of England and lives in Hertfordshire. His Anna Burgin mysteries are set in the 1990s and turn on a London fashion photographer and her flatmate Danny Churchill, a journalist. Fade to Silence (2018) and Court Me Kill Me (2019) carry on the run that Cold Press began, while Illusions of Warsaw (2020) shifts to Warsaw in 1997, where the fugitive reporter Clare Woodbrook refuses to leave a colleague's death unexplained.
