Erica Stanciu

Erica Stanciu wrote The Other Pack, a 2014 paranormal romance that begins a three-book shifter sequence. Whitney appears to have an enviable life: she dates the football quarterback, earns strong grades, enjoys a wide circle of friends, and can transform into a rare white wolf. Her father is the Alpha of the pack, and his expectations create pressure beneath that outward success. The story uses werewolf identity, family authority, school life, and romantic attachment as the immediate setting for Whitney's choices. Later books continue the sequence through Halcyon Persuasion and Shift, moving its connected pack history into another generation and then toward college. The Other Pack is classified as paranormal romance, fantasy, and shapeshifter fiction, while its 2014 publication places it alongside the other two installments released that year. Erica Stanciu therefore introduces the sequence through a young wolf balancing social confidence, inherited responsibility, and the demands attached to an Alpha family.
