Grace Bonney is an American blogger, novelist, and businesswoman. She is most recognized for starting and running the interior design blog Design*Sponge for fifteen years. Design*Sponge grew to become one of the most-read design blogs on the internet, with around two million readers every day. But after 15 years, Grace chose to shut down the blog in August 2019 because of changes in the advertising landscape, the influence of social media, and the rise of design websites.
