Author: Harvey Fergusson
Harvey Fergusson (1890–1971) was an American novelist born and raised in Albuquerque, New Mexico. He built much of his fiction on his native Southwest, portraying Spanish, Mexican, and Anglo life across books such as "Wolf Song" (1927) and "In Those Days" (1929), and he later worked intermittently as a Hollywood screenwriter. "The Blood of the Conquerors" (1921) was his first novel and marked him early as a serious chronicler of New Mexico.
