Heather Schneider

Heather Schneider writes cozy romances and fantasies shaped by small communities, seasonal magic, and characters seeking a more purposeful life. Chasing Cheer opens her Magical Emerald Hollow series. The novel follows Holly Claus as unusual levels of Christmas spirit draw her to an Oregon town, where she meets Ash and begins to understand the human relationships behind the magic she gathers. Schneider frames the story as a North Pole reimagining with a small-town setting and a gentle romantic arc. Her later novel Finding Cheer returns to Emerald Hollow and shifts attention to other members of the community. Schneider has also written the Evergreen Academy books, extending her interest in whimsical systems of magic through a school centered on magical botany. She supports those fictional worlds with maps, reading calendars, book-club materials, and related visual resources. Chasing Cheer remains the starting point for her published Emerald Hollow setting and its continuing cast.
