Her first book, Soul of a Man, appeared in 2011, and Razer's Ride launched The Last Riders in 2013 through the independent press YoungInkPress. The series follows a motorcycle club and is explicit throughout. Desired by Doom belongs to its Ohio chapter offshoot, in which Arden walks into the clubhouse to ask the riders for help with her younger brother. Dark Ties is a two-strand duet written with her daughter Sarah Brianne, a novelist in her own right, pairing the wealthy Desmond Beck and Dante Caruso and pulling characters out of each writer's existing books into a single story.
