Jessica Day George

Jessica Day George writes fantasy adventures for young readers, often pairing resourceful young protagonists with enchanted places and close family bonds. Fridays with the Wizards returns to Princess Celie and Castle Glower, where the escape of the wizard Arkwright turns hidden rooms and underground passages into a new test of Celie’s knowledge of her home. Bloomsbury publishes the novel in the Tuesdays at the Castle sequence, alongside Tuesdays at the Castle, Wednesdays in the Tower, Thursdays with the Crown, and Saturdays at Sea. George has also created the Dragon Slippers, Princesses of Westfalin, and Rose Legacy books. Across these series, her fiction favors humor, teamwork, magical creatures, and protagonists who solve problems by paying careful attention to the worlds around them.
