Jimmy Kimmel

Jimmy Kimmel is a television host who made his picture-book debut as both author and illustrator. Random House published The Serious Goose in 2019, inviting children to make an unflappable goose laugh. Kimmel wrote, illustrated, and lettered the forty-page story, whose built-in mirror makes the child part of the joke. The publisher recommends it for preschool through second grade and says the title grew from Kimmel's nickname for his children. His proceeds were designated for Children's Hospital Los Angeles and other children's hospitals.
