Kathy Bosman
Kathy Bosman combines emotional renewal with light speculative touches across South African romance, fantasy, and self-help writing. The Dance of the Firefly appeared during 2015 as a contemporary story shaped by dance, performance, and renewed love. Bosman had already written Wedding Girls stories and standalones for Astraea Press, later known as Clean Reads. She describes romance as her central genre and has gained editorial experience that influenced her approach to revision and character development. Her bibliography includes His Halloween Kisses, Reminding Me of You, Angeline 43, Cat Therapy, and later independent work. Some titles returned to her control after Clean Reads closed, leading her to reconsider and revise earlier books. The Dance of the Firefly belongs to the productive middle of that career, when Bosman was moving among contemporary relationships, family conflict, and occasional fantasy while writing from South Africa.
