Leiland Dale

Leiland Dale writes relationship-centered fiction that combines contemporary romance with paranormal and investigative elements. Paul’s D’Marco brings together Matt D'Marco, a newly promoted detective facing a difficult case, and Paul Whittington, a psychic whose abilities may help the investigation. Bibliographic listings identify Dale as author and place the work in contemporary, paranormal, and same-gender romance categories. The title links the two central characters through Matt's surname while signaling Paul's growing place in his life, giving the investigation and relationship equal structural importance. Dale uses the pressure of police work and unfamiliar attraction to challenge Matt's settled assumptions about himself. The concise novel consequently works best as a hybrid of romantic development, psychic suspense, and personal change rather than a conventional procedural. Paul’s D’Marco by Leiland Dale develops a story in which cooperation on a troubling case gradually becomes an emotional partnership, with uncertainty about trust driving both strands of the plot.
