llan Pappe

The name on this page is misspelt. It begins with a lower case L rather than a capital I, so the site holds two separate hubs for the same man, and the typo has been carried into the address of the book as well. He is Ilan Pappé, the Israeli historian now based in England, and A History of Modern Palestine tells the story of the land from the Ottoman period forward as one shared by two peoples rather than as two national histories running in parallel. It is the more measured of his books and is used as a university text. His other title on the site sits under the correctly spelled hub.
