Megan Goldin
Goldin was born in Israel, grew up in Australia and spent around two decades reporting from Asia and the Middle East for Reuters and the Australian broadcaster before she wrote fiction. The Escape Room traps four investment bankers in a lift as a team exercise. The Night Swim runs a true-crime podcaster covering an assault trial in a coastal town alongside letters from a woman whose sister drowned there twenty years earlier. Both novels are as interested in how a story gets told to an audience as in what actually happened.
