Trumbull White (1868–1941) was an American journalist, war correspondent and magazine editor, born in Winterset, Iowa and dead in New York City. He worked for the Chicago Morning News, the Chicago Times and the Chicago Record, covering the Spanish-American War for the Record in 1898, then edited The Red Book Illustrated, Adventure and Everybody's Magazine, and wrote or contributed to some twenty books, among them "Our War with Spain for Cuba's Freedom" (1898). His collaborators here were Richard Linthicum (1859–1934), a journalist and compiler of popular volumes including one on the war between Japan and Russia, and Samuel Fallows (1835–1922), a bishop of the Reformed Episcopal Church who edited this book and wrote its introduction.
