The Holiday (2019) shuts four women who have been friends since university, plus their husbands and children, into a villa in the south of France for a sweltering week, one of them privately certain that her husband is involved with one of the others. Channel 5 filmed it as a four-part drama starring Jill Halfpenny. T. M. Logan is Tim Logan, who reported for the Nottingham Evening Post, covered science for the Daily Mail, then ran communications for Nottingham University until redundancy in 2017 sent him into fiction full time. He writes in a cabin at the bottom of his garden in Nottinghamshire.
