About this book

The exciting story "A Grand Race" by Ellen O'Connell takes place in the Great Plains Automobile Race of 1905. Instead of having a relaxing ride in her cousin's Pierce Great Arrow. Caroline Tindell has a frightening run-in with a former rogue. Extended moments of anxiety follow as the speeding Arrow crashes off the road. The narrative is amazing as it combines romance, adventure, and the exhilaration of early car racing.
