The fourth novel in Aileen Adams' Highland Heartbeats series is titled 'An Auctioned Bride.' Hugh McInnis, the main character of the tale is at an auction and becomes enamored with Dalla a Norwegian beauty. Dalla's voyage takes an unexpected turn when her uncle puts her up for sale. Originally, the plan was for her to be sent to a convent as punishment for defying her father. Within the rough Scottish backdrop, this historical romance interweaves secrets, promises, and surprising connections.
