About this book

Suleika Jaouad's memoir begins during her final year at Princeton, when persistent itching and exhaustion interrupt the pace of student life. Conflicting explanations from health practitioners leave her uncertain about what is happening. Drawing on journals, medical records, interviews and letters, her account places these early symptoms beside friendships, work and the approach of graduation.
