Malcolm Gladwell’s Blink is about snap judgments and the unconscious decision making process. Gladwell makes the case that our gut reactions are rarely wrong, but can be easily fooled by our brains with either a strong prejudice to a conclusion or our brains simple ‘leaping to judgments based on incomplete information’. These rapid thoughts are examined in the book, along with what makes us think so fast, and how to use these thoughts for optimal decision making.
