About this book

Cliff Chiang's "Catwoman: Lonely City" offers an original interpretation of the Catwoman story. Ten years have passed since the terrible incident known as Fools' Night, which resulted in the imprisonment of Selina Kyle, the Catwoman, and the deaths of Commissioner Gordon Batman the Joker, and Nightwing. After being freed, Selina returns to a transformed Gotham City,

where Mayor Harvey Dent and his Batcops are keeping a close check on her. One final great prize draws Selina's attention: the mysteries concealed within the Batcave. In the book, a world without Batman is explored, and Selina's background poses a threat to the city's stability.
