John Spencer Curwen

John Spencer Curwen became an English music educator, editor, and publisher closely associated with the tonic sol-fa movement founded by his father, John Curwen. He directed the family publishing business, edited musical periodicals, and wrote practical studies intended for teachers, choirs, and general readers.
