“Depravity” by M.J. Haag is the first book in the Beastly Tales series, which is a dark and mature retelling of the classic fairy tale, Beauty and the Beast. The protagonist, Benella, is concerned with two main things: avoiding the two village boys who torment her and finding food to help feed her family.
