Edge of Darkness

M.A. Church’s “Edge of Darkness” is the first novel in the “Dragons of San DeLain” series. The main characters in the tale are Hudson, Connie, and Kit. Despite Connie not being his intended mate, Hudson, a thousand-year-old royal dragon, falls in love with her. But when a spunky human named Kit ends up in their lives, Hudson and Connie discover that, unlike each other, they have a soul connection with Kit.

As they work through their complicated connection, an old enemy who was previously believed to be dead poses a threat to San DeLain’s streets. Hudson and Connie attempt to figure out how to keep their very fragile human in one piece and happy while Kit battles a nightmare from his past.
