But when a spunky human named Kit ends up in their lives, Hudson and Connie discover that, unlike each other, they have a soul connection with Kit.
As they work through their complicated connection, an old enemy who was previously believed to be dead poses a threat to San DeLain's streets. Hudson and Connie attempt to figure out how to keep their very fragile human in one piece and happy while Kit battles a nightmare from his past.
