Feathertide

Beth Cartwright’s “Feathertide” is a charming and melancholic story about Marea, a small child. Marea was born covered in bird feathers and raised in a dilapidated home full of mysteries. She has always known she is unique, but she has never been able to figure out why.  In search of answers, she embarks on a life-changing journey to see the father she has never known. Her journey leads her to the mysterious and mermaid-filled City of Murmurs, where the heartbroken drag jars filled with whirling mist through the streets. Marea gains priceless knowledge about love, loss, kindness, and acceptance.
