Going Down

Elise Sax’s debut novella in the Five Wishes series is titled “Going Down.”  Marion MacAlister is the main character of the novel. She wants to nail her audition rather than get hammered. Mack Ryan the proprietor of a nearby cafe and her gorgeous landlord, confounds her though.  This novel has a hint of suspense mixed in with humor and romance. It adds a mysterious element to the story by absorbing the interactions between Mack and Marion.
