About this book

Ann Rule's fascinating true crime story, "Heart Full of Lies," explores seduction, treachery, and murder. The protagonists of the narrative are Liysa Northon, a well-known surf photographer and aspiring Hollywood screenwriter, and her husband Chris Northon, a former airline pilot who is now a loving husband and father. A beautiful future awaited them after an exquisite Hawaiian wedding, but few were aware of Liysa's dominating ways and her voracious appetite for money and possessions.

Liysa defends herself after a tragic family camping trip in an Oregon forest, but evidence from the crime scene casts doubt on her story. Behind her flawless exterior lies a lifetime of psychopathic machinations and suppressed wrath, as her contentious trial exposes.
