About this book
I, Robot is Isaac Asimov's 1950 collection of nine science fiction stories about robots and the people who build and work with them. The stories are tied together by an interview with Dr. Susan Calvin, a robopsychologist, who looks back over the history of robotics. They introduce the Three Laws of Robotics, the rules that govern every robot's behaviour, and explore what happens when the laws collide or are interpreted in unexpected ways. The stories were first published in magazines in the 1940s and brought together by Gnome Press. A foundation of modern science fiction.
