In His Custody

In His Custody is an alluring short story written by Jessa Kane. The narrative starts with London, a young woman who is released from juvenile hall and finds herself in the care of a tall, raspy-voiced stranger, Police Captain Brody. Brody introduces himself as her mother’s new husband, and despite having never met him before, London is released into his custody.
