Left by the Indians

The book ‘Left by the Indians’ is written by Emeline Lucinda Fuller. ‘Left by the Indians: Story of My Life’ is an eyewitness account of the Utter-Van Ornum wagon train mass killing on the Oregon Trail. In the story, Emeline survived an Indian attack when she was 13 years old and saved some of her siblings and walked until rescued by soldiers.
