About this book
Metzerott, Shoemaker is a book by Katharine Pearson Woods. The book carries a short exchange of questions and answers about belief, including the questions “What is your creed?” and “What do you believe about him?” A dedication addressed to the clergy and the workingmen of America hopes that they may work and pray together for the coming of the kingdom of Christ.
The contents list a book headed LOVE, with chapters titled “Karl Metzerott attends a Kaffee Klatsch” and “The Pastor’s Blue Apron”. The chapter called THE PASTOR’S BLUE APRON shows Pastor Schaefer in serious trouble, with the 22d of December come and his Christmas sermon still unprepared, and with a house and six small children to care for. A scene has Paul Kellar spring to his feet and cry out for Christina to awake, but Christina could not answer.
